Musical Shape Shifter
Nailah Jappah, also known under the mononym "NAI", grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, training in musical theatre, a cappella, and choral music. Her classical roots helped build her foundation for vocal technique and a cappella helped build her love for all kinds of music. She was raised around funk, R&B, early 90's hip hop, and the expansive world of pop, sounds that have molding and shaped who she is, making sure they are always prevalent in her artistry.
